What material are AlloyGators made from? AlloyGators are made from a super tough nylon which is flexible and won’t damage your alloy wheels during fitting, but is tough enough to give superior protection.
How permanent is the colour? Colour runs consistently throughout the wheel protectors, meaning that there is no damage to colour, even after impact with a kerb. We recommend you regularly clean your wheels and AlloyGators with normal car shampoo or universal wheel cleaners suitable for delicate finishes like chrome. Avoid harsh cleaners and thick, brush-on tyre shines used by some hand car-washes.
How do I fit my AlloyGators? The AlloyGator is locked to the wheel over 360° using highly robust patented technology. Please view our fitting video for a step by step guide or view our Fitting Instructions & Care Advice.
How do I remove my AlloyGators? To remove an AlloyGator, simply jack up the car, fully deflate the tyre, remove the plastic joining clip and carefully prise the profile up around the joint area. Firmly tap the face of the AlloyGator using a rubber mallet on the side which has the hole in it. This will then release the glue and open up the joint. Once the joint is open carefully prise the profile out of its seated position from the tyre side of the wheel, starting with the end without the hole and using a tyre lever or flat bladed screwdriver along the side and under the profile, prising in an upward motion. Once the end of the profile is free from the wheel and tyre then carefully pull it out from its position across the tyre wall in an outward motion in order to prevent any damage to the wheel from the stainless steel clips
Have AlloyGators been tested at speed? Our AlloyGators have been tested under normal driving conditions and within the legal speed limit.
We offer a 12 month warranty on all our accessory products, this warranty provides labour if required and new or replacement parts free if the product breaks down due to faulty manufacture or in normal use.
The warranty does not cover:-
Inappropriate use, incorrect operation or a fault created through incorrect fitting- (e.g. The warranty does not cover impact damage, hazardous liquid damage, exposure to extreme heat/cold or other damage caused by acts of God or incorrect fitment) or Vandalism – Damage caused by others.
Can AlloyGators be used on run-flat tyres? Yes, AlloyGators can be used on run-flat tyres. You can see examples in our gallery. Fitting our product to run-flats does require heavier force and we always recommend visiting one of our trained fitters for a supply and fit service.
Are some wheel and tyre combinations better suited than others? Yes, some wheel and tyre combinations do suit our product better than others. Every set of AlloyGators includes a suitability gauge which should be used to determine suitability prior to attempting to fit the product. If you are unsure, please visit our network of trained fitters for advice. You can see examples of our product fitted to different wheel and tyre combinations in our gallery.
Can AlloyGators be re-used if I have new tyres? AlloyGators can generally be re-fitted to the same wheels if you have new tyres, providing they have not sustained heavy impact and all old glue residue is removed in order that the join can be effectively re-joined. We do not recommend re-fitting damaged profiles.
Do AlloyGators affect the inflation of the tyre they are fitted to? If fitted correctly, AlloyGators will not affect the inflation of the tyre. We recommend checking your tyre pressures one hour after fitting to ensure correct fitting and at regular intervals as recommended in your operating manual.
Can AlloyGators be fitted to machine polished or diamond cut alloy wheels? AlloyGators are not recommended for machine polished or diamond cut alloy wheels. Although fitting the product will provide superior protection against kerb damage, due to existing imperfections in the lacquered wheel surface our product may increase the risk of moisture retention and accelerate wheel degradation. Providing there is no minute damage to the wheel surface, fitting AlloyGators should not cause damage on its own, however Car Care WA accepts no liability if the causes the aforementioned damage when fitted to machine polished or diamond cut alloy wheels. We do have many customers with machine polished wheels who use AlloyGators for wheel protection.
Is there a maximum recommended vehicle weight when fitting AlloyGators? AlloyGator wheel protectors are suitable for 98% of alloy wheel and tyre combinations, however, when fitted to alloy wheels on vehicles weighing over 2500kg, AlloyGator wheel protectors may move or come away from the wheel rim. Vehicles weighing over 2500kg put increased pressure on the wheel and tyre, and could cause the Alloygator profile to move over time. For this reason we do not recommend fitting AlloyGator wheel protectors to vehicles weighing over 2500kg. This includes vehicles weighting less than 2500kg, but carrying luggage or passenger weight that causes the overall vehicle weight to exceed 2500kg.
Car Care WA accepts no liability for profile movement or any damage caused by an AlloyGator profile fitted to a vehicle that weighs in excess of 2500kg. This includes vehicles weighing less than 2500kg, but carrying luggage or passenger weight that causes the overall vehicle weight to exceed 2500kg.
How quickly are orders delivered? We dispatch all orders same day. Cut off is 2pm WST (4pm EST, daylight saving 5pm EST).
How are total shipping costs calculated? Shipping costs are directly related to the quantity of items in the cart. In addition, shipping costs include an amount to cover packing materials and any special handling considerations that may be required to ship the package.
Do you send packages COD (Cash On Delivery)?Car Care WA does not accept COD orders. All orders must be pre-paid.
How can I track the status of my order/shipment? Standard Delivery can take up to ten days to arrive; if you have been waiting longer than this then please contact us using our on-line contact form.
I placed my order last week, why haven't I received it? We dispatch all orders on the same day, cut off 2pm WST (4pm EST, daylight saving 5pm EST). If your order has been placed with us for more than ten days and you have not received the product please contact us via our online contact form. Alternatively contact us using our contact form and we will be happy to contact our courier on your behalf.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Should you wish to cancel an order simply contact our customer care team at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, name and address and we will refund the cost of the order and the original delivery charge.
If the goods have already been dispatched, you will need to return them to us at your own cost prior to receiving any refund. You can return products for a full refund if you return the item(s) to us within 21 days of receipt. Provided you return the full order, we will refund the original delivery charge paid. You will have to return the item(s) at your own cost (please see further advice on faulty or damaged goods). Returned products must be in their original packaging, with instructions and all parts included, in a fully resalable condition. Items must not have been used or assembled in any way. Car Care WA reserves the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be resalable or if any of the above terms have been breached. Please include a Returns Form in the parcel you are returning which can be downloaded below. Without a completed Returns Form, we may not be able to process your refund. The refund will appear on your statement within 14 days of the goods being received by our warehouse.
Please note: the parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they are received at our warehouse. We therefore recommend that you use a registered postal service and retain proof of postage. Car Care WA is not responsible for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit. Please ensure the product(s) is well packaged to avoid any damage during transport to our warehouse, and to ensure the product arrives at our warehouse in a resalable condition.
How do I return an item? If you would like to return a product, simply follow the steps below within 21 days of receipt: Please complete a Returns Form which can be downloaded by clicking on the link below, indicating the item(s) you are returning and your reason for return. Please ensure you include the form within the parcel – without it, we may not be able to process your return. Use the original packaging to repack your returns, ensuring that the product is packed well enough to avoid any damage during transport to our warehouse. The product must arrive at our warehouse in a resalable condition. Re-seal the parcel and take it to the Post Office within 21 days of receipt.

Remember to obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office. This is your proof of posting if your parcel goes astray. We recommend you also use recorded delivery or similar, thereby obtaining a unique tracking ID. We will refund the card that you used to purchase your goods. The refund will appear on your statement within 14 days of the goods being received by our warehouse. If your item was faulty or damaged on arrival, please contact our Customer Care team at email@example.com within 48 hours of receipt and we will arrange to collect the item, and organise a replacement where possible.
I have received a faulty or damaged item, what do I do? We want all of our customers to receive goods of the highest quality, so if your product is faulty or damaged on arrival, please contact our Customer Care team with details of the issue within 48 hours of receipt. We will arrange to collect the item from you and, wherever possible, endeavour to organise a replacement item for you, subject to stock availability. All collections are made Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
I have received an incorrect item, what do I do? Every so often mistakes are made, but we do our best to resolve them as quickly as possible. If you have received an incorrect item, please contact our Customer Care team and we will organise a free collection service to pick up the incorrect item. Wherever possible, we will endeavour to organise a replacement item for you subject to stock availability.
Can I return an item for a replacement? If you receive an incorrect item, we will endeavour to send you a replacement, subject to availability. If this is not possible, we will refund you, crediting the cost of the item and delivery to your payment card. The refund will appear on your payment card statement within 14 days of the goods being received into our warehouse.

Do AlloyGator prices include VAT? Yes, all our prices include VAT at the standard rate.

Will my order include a sales receipt? Yes, a sales receipt is enclosed with all orders prior to shipping.

Will fitting AlloyGators affect my insurance? Our AlloyGators are not deemed a performance enhancing product and fitting them to your vehicle should not affect your vehicle insurance premium, however we would recommend you speak to your insurance company to discuss your own individual requirements.
